Teacher strike would be unforgivable, says Nadhim Zahawi

Children have suffered enough following Covid pandemic, warns
Education Secretary, after largest union threatens to walk out

. . .

Remember what Ronald Reagan did when the important
Air-Traffic Controllers union went on strike ? He
FIRED them ... bought in military and retirees to
do the job. Fired workers COULD re-apply ... but
at the affordable wage and NO UNION BULLSHIT.

The USA was still suffering badly from the Carter
Recession. Reagan was implementing recovery measures
when that union decided to screw everybody. He just
didn't put up with it. Blocking vital services just
was not tolerable at that time.

Well, the UK is suffering from a massive Covid
hang-over, the economy is teetering, cheap Russian
energy is now out of the equation for obvious
reasons. The Covid DEBT is nearly as bad as the
WW2 debt. The NHS has gone to shit, Ukraine costs
are high ... and now the transport and teachers
unions want to SCREW everybody, thinking they have
the upper hand.

Well, Mr. PM .... yer granny can teach school-kids
(and none of that soft crap letting the little shits
run wild). Yer grandfather can figure out how to
do most railway jobs too - maybe he even worked for
the railway before and is BORED (and/or broke)
just sitting around.

Thing is, the situation is in many ways BACK to what
it was post-WW2. Slackers and price-gougers and strikers
just cannot be tolerated. It'll be a DECADE. Give in
to these unions and inflation and dysfunction will
mushroom, completely destroy the UK. Want that on
the historical record ?

So ... GIVE THEM THE ULTIMATUM - show up at work tomorrow
and EVERY damned day or you're FIRED, replaced. It's for
the greater good. "Normality" can eventually return, but
NOT NOW.

In short Mr. PM ... LEAD, BOLDLY. You must TAKE CHARGE
and NOT APOLOGIZE. Make your case to The People. Do
what you must do. Churchill did, and knew why it had
to be done. YOU must know it too. All that's needed
is the NERVE. You CANNOT please all of the people all
of the time - so the only course is the pragmatic.

In the broader picture, militarist authoritarians are
in motion now - their goals much like Hitler, Japan,
Stalin. The EU is largely paralyzed - hostage to Russia
and it's own insane bureaucracy. The USA needs a strong
ally in these dark days - and the UK needs a strong ally
too. In a few months the dreadful Biden administration
will be castrated and the USA can be an even better ally.
Can we count on the UK being the same ? Our union was
POWERFUL during WW2 and the years beyond, it can be again.

Yeah, he cost the country a whole lot of money and created a
recurring ATC crisis because he had a temper tantrum. But he was
celebrated for nassively increasing the debt and fucking over
anyone not kissing his senile demented ass.
