They even have a term - "Zombie Knives" - for what the
govt cannot control.

People are getting stabbed in large numbers now. Dead
kids, dead older people, the stabbings have been fairly
democratic. It's the Great New Thrill ... Covid lockdown
sociopathy seems a driver.

Thing is, most ANYTHING can be a "knife" - even a shard
of glass with a tape handle. Any pointy bit - metal,
ceramic, even the proverbial wooden vampire stake. There
is NO way to ban/control "knives" ... too low-tech. "Lucy"
probably had a razor-sharp flake of stone in her kit.

The problem, and possible solutions, lie with The People,
not the instruments. Alas talking about ethics/morality
and such irritates the commies and thus nobody bothers
to impress such things on the youth. Soon they won't
even bother arresting the killers - it will be declared
UnWoke or Un-PC or "racist" or "classist" or something ......

Then you're all doomed. Real horrorshow. The red Krovvy
will paint the streets. England WILL fall - hard and
painful. After that, totalitarians ... don't complain

Just telling it like it is. Like all leftist-contaminated
govts the UK is crumbling - the State and even the state of
The People. Ethics goes away and it all becomes more and
more like a page from Clockwork Orange. And, like other
leftist govts, the "solutions" offered seem to involve
anything BUT teaching/enforcing ethics.

"Morality" tends to derive from the locally-popular religions,
but "ethics" derives from considered empathy and is thus far
more universal. Why SHOULDN'T you stab, rape,rob,torture and
cheat ? That old Golden Rule is all the explanation needed,
but States and even parents don't/won't go there anymore.

And it means doom. Despots, fanatics and totalitarians will
wind up in charge - maybe domestic versions, maybe foreign.
Nobody will like it one bit - but they got what they asked for.

The UK really seems especially on The Brink now. The most
idiotic 'leaders', an evaporated economy that everyone still
demands 'free stuff' from, a population that religiously
votes for idiots regardless. What happens in the UK tends
to rapidly move to the USA and beyond.
